DANIELA ABKE

Daniela Abke was born in Westphalia, Germany. After an apprenticeship in industrial management, she studied Music and Fine Arts at the University of Oldenburg. To develop her work she received a research grant for Paris from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In 2008 she graduated from the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne with distinction. She is working as an independent filmmaker and realised, produced and edited a series of award-winning shorts. (Go to Shanghai, Snow-White, Tomorrow-Yeah!, The Pioneer).
